Vitamin c 100: A source of 100% pure vitamin C for horses under stress or in need of immune system support.
Plusvital Vitamin C 100 is simply 100% Vitamin C, which acts as an important anti-oxidant that works with Vitamin E to reduce free radicals. Normally, it is produced in sufficient quantities given the presence of enzyme, L-gulonolactone oxidase.
That said, horses under stress from training and competition and the older or convalescing horse may have depleted plasma levels of Vitamin C, therefore, supplementation through Plusvital Vitamin C 100 may be required to support immune function.
Directions for Use
- Horses: 5 g / 0.2 oz per day for 3-5 days in times of ill health/ stress or intense exercise
- A 5 g / 0.2 oz measure is provided
