With over 60 years of experience, the Dutch family business HORKA inspires equestrian enthusiasts all over the world with products for rider and horse. HORKA has a lot of knowledge and experience in designing, developing and producing equestrian products. Through collaborations with organizations such as the KNHS and professionals such as the Van Silfhout family, experiences with existing equestrian products can be converted into new, innovative ideas and products.
We are there for all riders, young and old, recreational or performance-oriented, but also for everyone who loves the outdoor life and likes to get out and about. Our products meet the wishes and needs of these enthusiasts and have resulted in a wide range of equestrian articles and outdoor products.
Our mission is to deliver high-quality and innovative products at the right price-quality ratio, in order to achieve the maximum possible for the company, its employees, suppliers, retailers, society and the environment. Aspects such as mutual respect, pride, cooperation and customer focus are of great importance in this.
History
HORKA International BV is a family business that was founded in 1956 by Mr. AEJ Horst. What started with the production of hats and caps in an attic room, has grown into a total supplier of equestrian, horse and stable products.
In 1986, HORKA put the first approved safety helmet on the European market. In the years that followed, HORKA continued to expand its range with the 2nd brand Red Horse in 2005, further expansion of the range of horse products in 2010 and a niche in outdoor products related to equestrian sports in 2014. HORKA, now with the 3rd generation at the helm, sells its products worldwide to more than 30 countries.
